Hi Sandeep! Its good to hear that you received the placement report.
As I replied you previously in your asked questions that package range in IIFM is between Rs.4.5 lacs p.a to Rs.8.5 lacs p.a. Average package for 2014-16 batch was Rs.6 lacs p.a. Around 40 companies visited the institute for 80 students. Unfortunately, due to some health issues of students, the administration of the institute had to declare a holiday for 10 days. Due to this holiday, some companies could not visit the institute. Else, around 50 companies were lined up to visit the institute for placement of 80 students.

Hi Sandeep! You heard right that the mess committee is managed by students. The committee decides on every issues related to the mess such as menu, finance and others. After you join, you will understand its function clearly.

Hi Sandeep! Congrats. First of all, I would like to say you that PGDFM is a valid course. I think, you should refer to IIFM website to know more about it. It is a of-course a degree equivalent to PGDM. In fact, both are same. You refer to the website. It would clear all your doubts.

Hi Ankit! I don't think dropping a year is a good idea. I think , you join IIFM and prepare for IFS simultaneously. You will also get an edge in this way.

Hi Ankit! Congrats for getting selected. As IIFM provides with many courses related to environment and it has many IFS faculties, IIFM can surely help you to pursue for IFS. But, you need to prepare well and appear for the respective exam for IFS.

Hi Ankit! IIFM provides with several knowledge in the field of forest management and environment. It gives details knowledge in these topics. In IIFM, there are many faculties, who are in IFS. They can also guide you in various ways. After passing out from IIFM, some students also go for IFS. But, you would have to appear for the respective exam for IFS. There is no short cut for it. Yeah, IIFM and its faculties can surely can guide you in this journey. According to me, IIFM can help you.

Hi Ankit! IIFM has a record of 100% placement. This year, package ranged in between 4.5 Lacs p.a. to 8.5 Lacs p.a. Average package for 2014-16 batch was 6 Lacs p.a. Around 40 companies visited the institute for 80 students. IIFM ranked 8th among 'Top 50 Management Institutes for Research and Teaching' in India by National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) in 2016. The branches dealt in IIFM have a very broad scope in upcoming future. And for knowing information about UBS Chandigarh, I suggest you to ask to the college representative of the respective college.
