Hi Sandeep! First of all, I want to inform you that IIFM has a record of 100% placement. In this year as well, all the students of 2014-16 batch got placed. Package ranged in between 4.5 lacs p.a to 8.5 lacs p.a. Average package for 2014-16 batch was 6 lacs p.a. Around 40 companies visited the institute for 80 students. Unfortunately, due to some health issues of students, the administration of the institute had to declare a holiday for 10 days. Due to this holiday, some companies could not visit the institute. Else, around 50 companies were lined up to visit the institute for placement of 80 students. However, IIFM ranked 8th among 'Top 50 Management Institutes for Research and Teaching' in India by National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) in 2016. Regarding the scope after PGDFM, you must be aware that, IIFM provides with three management branches related to environment, development and sustainable livelihood. By pursuing PGDFM in IIFM, one not only has an opportunity to work in banking sectors, but also has an option to work in a different field related to environment, development and sustainable livelihood. These fields have a very broad scope in upcoming future. The job profile of IIFMites varies, as IIFM provides varied knowledge. Like, job profile in development sector is programme manager, in micro-finance is area manager. In banking sector, job profiles are deputy manager, assistant product manager, and sales manager. In environment sector, job profiles are research associate, programme manager and project officer in government jobs.
