While there's no guarantee, past instances suggest there's a possibility of an extension. IIFM Bhopal has extended application deadlines before 17 February 2025, for the 2025-27 batch. The last date to apply for the MBA programs was initially February 28, 2025, but was later extended. 

The selection process for admission to the IIFM Bhopal Doctoral Programme in Management course is based on a broader range of entrance exams, including CAT/GMAT/UGC-CSIR-JRF/NET/GATE/ICAR NET. Other than this, admission of students also depends on their performance in the subsequent GDPI round. Therefore, having a CAT percentile of 75 may not be  the only  threshold for admission to the DPM programme at IIFM Bhopal.

IIFM Bhopal provides good placements for students officially pursuing a course from the institute. As of now, the institute has not released the placement data for the DPM programme. However, the institute has shared the placement statistics for other courses. As per the report, the average package bagged by MBA students stood at INR 9 LPA, with the highest package reaching INR 38 LPA. The Research Aptitude Test (RAT) exam is an aptitude test and part of the Indian Institute of Forest Management evaluation process for the PhD course. The test is preferably during the month of June-July. To be able to appear for the exam, students must first apply with a valid entrance test score. Only those who meet the cutoff are invited to appear for the exam.
