The courses that are provided in the MSc stream at IISER Mohali and IISER Pune are different because IISER Pune offers MSc courses for two years in Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics and Physics specialisation and one integrated course.
On the other hand, IISER Mohali mostly offers integrated MSc courses for the duration of five years—BS+MS in Biological Science, Physical Science, Mathematical Science, Chemical Science, and integrated MSc-PhD in Physical Science for the duration of four years. The admission process for MSc courses in both institutions is as follows:

However, the NIRF report 2025 has been released on the official website. The report incorporates the 2024 placement details for BS MS courses. Out of 157 BSc students, 3 were placed during IISER Mohali placements 2024. Further, the median package offered to BS MS students was INR 11.4 LPA.
