You can apply for MSc at IIT Kanpur if you meet these criteria:
- Minimum CPI 5.5 or 55% in the qualifying degree
- Clearing the department specified cutoff of GATE/ JAM
- BTech/ B.E/ MSc/ BS EE, ECE, CS, Electronics, Physics, etc. is the Department specific eligibility.
- Mathematics in Class 12/ UG level

IIT Kanpur-Online eligibility is as follows:
- UG degree in relevant field with minimum of 55% aggregate or 5.5 CPI
- GATE/ JAM
- Written Test/ Online Interview may be held for those exempted from appearing for the entrance test
