The selection process for BTech includes IMUCET entrance exam and counseling at Indian Maritime University. The minimum percentage required is 70% and may vary throughout different years. The Indian Maritime University (IMU) offers B.Tech in Marine Engineering at its Chennai and Mumbai campuses. The admission is based on the IMU Common Entrance Test (CET) score. According to the IMU academic brochure, the eligibility criteria for B.Tech in Marine Engineering is 10+2 or equivalent with a minimum of 60% aggregate in PCM and a minimum of 50% marks in English.
