hi,

Admission to B.Sc. programs at Indira Gandhi Institute of Physical Education and Sports Sciences may require CUET as per the latest admission guidelines. However, universities like Lovely Professional University offer B.Sc. and other sports-related programs through their own entrance test or merit-based admission, making it easier for students to pursue careers in physical education and sports sciences.

The direct admission option for the B.P.Ed. programme at IGIPESS is unlikely. Although, they do have seats which can be transformed into management quota seats. You will still have to go through the usual admissions process, consisting of an entrance exam and a skills test. If the management quota seats are available, then you will be eligible depending on the institute's norms.

To the best of my understanding, Indira Gandhi Institute of Physical Education and Sports Sciences does not have M.Sc. program. The institute mainly conducts postgraduate Diploma in fields including physical education, sports coaching, and fitness management. These programmes are planning to offer specialised education in the field of sports Science and physical education. As for some detailed information as for the list of the offered courses, it would be reasonable to visit the official website, or to turn to the admission office.

But they have very decent placement record with having placement percentage between 70 to 80%. The maximum salary offered package is 9.6 Lacs per annum, and the lowest salary offered package is at 3.6 Lacs per annum. The institute, also possesses a faculty for training and placements and it strives hard in order to get the best jobs for its students.

Indira Gandhi Institute of Physical Education and Sports Sciences (IGIPESS) is considered a Tier 2 institution, recognised for its specialised focus on physical education and sports sciences. While it is affiliated with the University of Delhi, a Tier 1 institution, IGIPESS does not have the same widespread national reputation as top-tier engineering, medical, or general universities in India. However, it is well-regarded within its niche and offers quality programs in sports education.

No, you cannot join the B.Sc. programme in Physical Education, Health Education, and Sports Sciences at the Indira Gandhi Institute of Physical Education and Sports Sciences without appearing for the CUET (Common University Entrance Test). Admission to the programme requires candidates to take the CUET and participate in a performance-based test. The final merit is calculated based on 50% weightage from the CUET score and 50% from the performance-based test
