Kashmir University BCA is an under-graduate programme offered by various private affiliated colleges under the university. The basic eligibility criteria for admission in BCA is the marks obtained in 10+2. Kashmir University has its own entrance KUET but no entrance is conducted for admission into the BCA course. The final selection for the programme is based on merit in the qualifying examination. Kashmir University will soon release the application forms for BCA admission 2022. BCA is a three-year course divided into six semesters. Admission into the course is conducted on an annual pattern basis. The fees for the BCA course is Rs 30,000 per year however it may vary from college to college. Additional charges may include University Registration Fee, University Charges, University Charges, Library Fees, etc. The highest cut-off for admission into the BCA course is 94.00 and the lowest cut-off is 46.20. The University does not provide any placement opportunities for the students pursuing BCA Course. Kashmir University BCA Eligibility Criteria
The applicants for admission into BCA Course must have the following requirements:
Candidates must have passed 10+2 in Science, arts, or commerce stream from Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education or any other recognised Board/Institution or any other equivalent Board. Candidates must have secured a minimum of 45% for the general category and 40% for the reserved category in the last qualifying exam. Candidates who have passed their Higher Secondary examination (10+2 pattern) without Computer/Mathematics related subject are also eligible, but they will have to compulsorily opt Mathematics as Generic Elective in any of the first four semesters. Admission into BCA course is entirely based on merit. The marks of the 10+2 exam shall be considered for selection. While applying for admission to Kashmir University a candidate would have to register and then fill the application form. Before applying for a course, candidates should ensure that they meet the eligibility requirements. When the candidates are certain, they can proceed with the KU application form filling process.

Candidate must have completed BCA or B.Sc. (Information Technology/ Computer Science or equivalent), or a pass in a recognized Bachelors degree of minimum 3 years duration (in disciplines other than the ones mentioned above) with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduation Level and obtained at least 50% marks (45% for Tamilnadu BC, BCM, MBC, SC, SCA, ST category). The qualifying degree examination can be 10+2+3/4/5 years pattern or 10+3 years Diploma +3 years pattern or 10+2+AMIE or 10+3 years diploma + AMIE. AMIE candidate must have 2 years regular full time experience in the relevant field. Candidates with B.E./B.Tech. degrees obtained through Distance/Weekend mode are not eligible. Candidates with degree obtained without studying 10th/12th Std. or 3 years degree programme are not eligible. Candidates appearing for the final semester/year are also eligible.

Eligibility Criteria
(a) A candidate for being eligible for admission to the degree course of Bachelor of Science-Information Technology, shall have passed XII standard examination of the Maharashtra Board of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent with Mathematics and Statistics as one of the subjects and should have secured not less than 45% marks in aggregate for open category and 40% marks in aggregate in case of Reserved category candidates.
(b) Candidate who have passed Diploma (Three years after S.S.C. Xth Std.) in Information Technology/ Computer Technology/ Computer Engineering/Computer Science/ Electrical, Electronics and Video Engineering and Allied Branches/Mechanical and Allied Branches/ Civil and Allied branches are eligible for direct admission to the Second Year of the B.Sc (I.T.) degree course.
