MNC's like Infosys, TCS and Accenture hire fresher candidates at a package of around 3 Lacs but growth is very good in this sector.

Hi Ajay,
IEM is a private college, so there is no problem if you are from outside. As per your rank in WBJEE, you will easily get information technology in this college. Computer science engineering might be possible in spot or the last round of the counselling, but information technology is sure in first round itself. If you are determined for CSE, then you can go for Techno India Salt Lake, Haldia, Heritage, etc.
