SAIL, a very familiar name to every Indian. An organisation, which is undoubtedly very much connected to every Indians regular life. The company produces a large number of steel products. If its history is traced back, it is seen that Hindustan Steel Private Limited was established on 19th January 1954. HSL was initially started to handle the steel plant at Rourkela. But afterwards completion of other steel plants such as Bhilai, Durgapur there was a need of one managing organisation. Thus a new centralised organisation came up on 24th January 1973 known as SAIL, Steel Authority of India. Today it is the most trusted Steel organisation of India.
Job Profile: The company is planning for a huge expansion in the near future which includes the job of building or adding new facilities in the company which will emphasise on state of the art green technology.
Eligibility Criterion: The students having B.Tech degree from the following disciplines: Mechanical, Electrical, Metallurgy, Chemical, Electronics & Telecommunications, Instrumentation, Civil, Ceramics and Computer Science from a recognised university with minimum marks of 65% in all years/semester (50%for SC/ST) are eligible to apply for the post. Students having an MCA degree with 65% (50% for SC/ST) are also eligible. Age limit for general students is 30 years, for SC/ST it is 35, for OBC, it is 33 & for physically handicapped people, it is 40 years.
