First of all I wants to clear you that the taking seat in any course in any college based on admissions allocated to the seats vacant proportion . So, after calculating all this the cutoffs are get decrease when all the seats are filled up. But, as we have something to say in usual from the last trends that for the CSE branch in KIIT you must have secured the rank at least under 5k and then further on it depends the quota ( if applicable) else you can go for IT branch which is also a good option to make , a nice placement is seen there in this branch. Chances are that you can get it at 10k rank.

No, for VIT you need to have mathematics in your +2 to be eligible for admission into BCA. But there are many other best universities which will get you admission into BCA without any problem.
If you want to learn programming languages which you will be studying in your BCA course then you can check out this app "BCA - Course Programming" which is specially designed and developed for BCA students and is available on Google Play Store. It has programs and assignments of languages like C, C+ and Java with their outputs. You'll be studying these languages in your 3 years of BCA.

You can pick an OS between Windows or Ubuntu. As majority of Indian colleges operate on Windows, there are few colleges which operates on Ubuntu. I haven't seen any college operating on Mac. So, it is better to stick with the technology used in your college.
