You can go for job immediately after BCA in Small and Medium size IT companies. But as you are not prepared for IT job, you may face challenges. If there are no personal conditions, you are advised to complete MCA before seeking a job in IT industry. MCA graduates are treated on par with B.Tech CS and B.Sc IT grads for Application development and Maintenance jobs.

I think, there is no MCA programm in Canada. So, you have one option, and that is MBA. It is the best in abroad. If you want to make your career in it, you can go for MCA degree. It is the best option after BCA, don't change your filed.

I am also a BCA student. After BCA, you can become software developer or software engineer.

You want do BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application) or MCA (Master of computer application). BCA is Bachelor's Degree and MCA is a Master's degree. You can become software developer or software engineer.

If you are interested in commerce after class 12th, you can do BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application). After BCA, you can go for MCA for Master degree.

BCA is a job oriented degree course and you can go for job immediately after BCA in Small and Medium size IT companies. Unfortunately Indian IT industry does not prefer BCA for entry level Developer and Testers role. You may get junior developer or Application support jobs.
