Yes, you can. You would have applied for state entrance examination before. But since you had not gone for any test, you can apply for particular colleges, as some college provide direct admission.

Hi Mehak,
IT industry in India comprises more of service based companies than product based. Gradually market seems to move forward towards product based with the success of Make in India programme. Even the progression of our nation keeps the market wide open. Just because more number of cheap & skillful employees are easily available here we are more service based.
IT sector constitute 17% of our GDP where Bangalore (Silicon Valley) alone constitute 77% of it.
You can certainly choose this field.
