The National Institutes of Technology (NITs) are the conducting authorities of the NIMCET. Every year, an NIT conducts the exam on a rotational basis. In 2025, the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, conducted the exam.

If you find any discrepancy in the NIMCET answer keys, you can raise objections online at nimcet.admissions.nic.in. You would need to submit your objections with supporting proof. For every objection, INR 500 has to be paid online, i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card. Authorities will not accept the objections if the fee is not paid.
