No. Once the MAH MCA CET exam centres are allotted, the candidates will not be able to raise requests for change. The authorities will not accept requests to change the allotted exam centres under any circumstances, given the allotment was done basis the candidate's preferences. We advise you to select the exam center very carefully.

The MAH MCA CET cutoff reflects minimum scores that the candidates must secure to seek admission to MCA programmes in Maharashtra. The college and category-wise MAH MCA CET cutoff will be available online at the official website. However, the candidates will not be guaranteed admission even if they meet the cutoff, but it surely increases their chances of allotment into their preferred colleges.

The MAH MCA CET exam syllabus is considered easy to moderate. Subjects covered in the syllabus include Computer concepts, English Language, Mathematics & statistics and Logical reasoning. Computer concepts topics covered in the MAH MCA CET syllabus are similar to what students learn in BCA/BSc IT. You can easily cover the entire syllabus of MAH MCA CET in 3 - 4 months, given you are dedicated and have the BCA/BSc IT background.

There is no mention of the minimum passing marks for the MAH MCA CET in the information brochure as released by the Maharashtra CET Cell. Admission is given on the basis of merit and the marks obtained in MAH MCA CET and graduation. The percentile scores in MAH MCA CET and the percentage in graduation are used to arrive at an All India Rank, which will be used for admission at the institutes.

No, you can't get direct admission to an MCA programme in Maharashtra. You would need to qualify for the MAH MCA CET and also meet the MAH MCA CET cutoff. Some private colleges do offer admission through management quota, but they require a lot of extra money to get into.

No, one month is not sufficient for NIMCET preparation. You would need to study an extensive syllabus that would need time as well as a lot of effort. However, if you are a BCA student that your college education might help you in your preparation, since the topics of NIMCET and BCA are similar, you would need to brush up on your knowledge. It is recommended to solve previous year NIMCET question papers to make yourself acquainted with the NIMCET exam.
