The placement data for BCA courses are not released officially. However, the combined placement details for UG (3-year) courses are revealed in the NIRF report 2022. As per the report, a total of 72 UG (3-year) students graduated in 2021. Out of these, 59 students were placed during IMS Kolkata placements 2021. Further, the median package offered to UG (3-year) students during Institute of Management Study Kolkata placements 2021 was INR 10.20 LPA.

MAKAUT offers admission to MCA based on WBJEE JECA scores followed by the WBJEE JECA Counselling. WBJEE JECA Counselling 2023 was concluded after the release of Round 2. As per the last year, candidates can expect MAKAUT MCA cutoff for all category to be around 214 as the closing rank for R1 has remained same for all categories. Master of Computer Applications (MCA) admission to Sardar Patel Institute of Technology is based on MAH MCA CET. MAH MCA CET cutoff is released category- wise and round-wise. Yes, a B.Tech. in Information Technology has a better placement rate than a B.E. in Civil Engineering at Thiagarajar College of Engineering.
top companies come to recruit students from this institute and they are mostly from information technology backgrounds, which increases the chances of those students getting selected.
although there are several opportunities for B.E students as well which benefit them and get them placed in good companies.
