In 2021, the closing rank for BTech. under general category for all India quota was 11061. In 2022, it increased to 11939. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 21039 to 17644 for OBC, 101355 to 63830 for SC, 2524 to 116287 for ST, 13354 to 13938 for EWS, 639 to 471 for PWD.

Yes, MIT Manipal offers a two-year PG course of MCA, which is divided into four semesters. After studying BCA at graduation level, candidates can apply for this course. Other than this, those who passed their graudation in from BSc/ BCom/ BA along with studying Mathematics at Class 12 are also eligible to apply. In order to get the admission, aspirants have to visit the official website to fill an online application form and submit the relevant documents along with paying an application fee.

IIEST Shibpur will release 6-8 rounds of JEE Main cutoffs for admission to BTech in IT. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors:
- The JEE Main score of the candidate
- The category of the candidate
- The number of seats available in the course
Candidates must visit the official website of entrance exam to read clear instructions on how to proceed with the counselling process, once the round is released.

For Jadavpur University MCA admission, aspirants should have a valid three-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a UGC recognised institute/university with at least 60% aggregate (45% for SC/ST). The accepted UG courses are BSc in Computer Science, BSc (Hons) others, BA/BCom (Hons), BSc/BA/BCom - General, and BCA. It is also necessary that the candidate studied Mathematics at the UG level.

The cutoff trend for B.Tech at IIITM Gwalior - Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management has been decreasing in the recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for BTech under general category for all India quota was 18109. In 2022, it decreased to 14912. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 29609 to 22029 for OBC, 68071 to 76891 for SC, 178342 to 124467 for ST, 23911 to 18355 for EWS, 1240 to 708 for PWD. Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 9783 and closing rank was 12143. Cut off are differant when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 15614 and 16910. The 2024 cutoff ranks for BTech +M.Techin Information Technology at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University other than the General category are - 198167 for SC, 346824 for ST and 45444 for EWS. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE exam, the last cut-offs also change a lot depending on the All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.

During National Institute of Technology Surathkal placements 2022, the highest package offered to BTech (Information Technology) students was INR 45.03 LPA. The average package offered during NIT Surathkal placements 2022 for BTech (IT) students was INR 23.03 LPA.
