Your ranking is according to your caste:
If a candidate belongs to General Category, the rank should be below 5,000 to 8,000.
If a candidate belongs to OBC category, the rank should be below 15,000.

Maximum age limit for SC/ ST candidates is 28 years.

For getting admitted in top most IHM, you must need a rank above 2000 in IH-Bangalore. But, in Mumbai and Delhi, you must need a rank above 500.

Hey,
To join hotel management course offered by the government, you need to clear the NCHMCT -JEE exam which is the basic exam for the admission in the top institution of hotel management and remember you need to get top rankings for a good institution.

Hello Raghav,
If you reported to the institute, in that case, you have to withdraw the seat but in case you have not reported then you are eligible for spot round. It is bit difficult to get seat in 2nd round, as you are into general category. But, sure in 3rd round you can get a seat in IHM-Hyderabad.
Apply for 3rd round of counselling ASAP.
