The course is recognised by Government of Karnataka - Student may choose a single major along with one minor:

Major Subject- Psychology (Compulsory) Minor Subjects Biotechnology/Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Genetics/ Food Science and Nutrition/ Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics/ Food technology/ Environmental Science/ Nutrition and Dietetics/ Computer Science/Biostatistics (any one subject can be selected). It is good there but not the best as compared to other colleges.

The admission criteria and policies of Nirma University. However, according to the university website, the admission to B.Tech courses in Nirma University is based on the JEE Mains score and the +2 examination marks. The admission through NRI sponsored quota is also available for eligible candidates. The selection process is based on the NRI Merit list, and the candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria set by the university.
