Thakur Institute of Management Studies and Research (TIMSR) MBA eligibility requirements are as follows:
- Education: Candidates must have passed Bachelor's Degree from any Faculty of Mumbai University or an examination recognised by Association of Indian Universities. Applicants from other universities must have obtained a bachelor's degree from a recognised university.
- Entrance Test: Candidates must register for one of the qualifying tests which include CAT, MAT, XAT, MAH-CET, ATMA, CMAT or GMAT.
- Minimum Pass marks: Candidates must obtain at least 50% of all passing marks. Minimum marks for reserved categor

Candidates must have passed a three years degree course with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% for reserved or backward class categories and Persons with Disability (PwD) belonging to the state of Maharashtra. Those in the final year of their UG degree can also apply.
