Hey,
Pursuing a diploma in any of the course has several benefits of its own. These range from getting additional insight into that area of law to plus point in CV which would further help in getting jobs. If you plan on pursuing a certificate/diploma/ PG diploma course in International Trade law, the first and foremost benefit would be your additional knowledge in that subject area of law. There might be the case that in your normal Degree Program, the course might not have been covered in that length or some new insights were not provided to you. Hi Preet, After completing your studies you can apply for a post-study work permit, if your degree is of 1-year then your work permit will be of 1-year too. You can look for a job during this time, whether or not you will get a job will depend on your academic performance, networking and leadership skills, internship, industrial tie-up of your college, etc. So if you plan out correctly you can get a job.

I think by better scope you mean better income, so here is the comparison:
Corporate law
According to the United States Bureau of Labour Statistics, the projected job growth for corporate lawyers is 6% (2014-2024) and their median annual salary is $ 1,15,000.
In India, after completing a course in corporate law, you can be hired by a business firm or a large MNC at a good salary package.
The starting salary depends on your skills and from which college you have completed your course. In general, you may get anywhere Rs. 25000 to 45000 per month. After some experience, you can easily get Rs. 50,000 to 1,00,000.
