To get admission for BTech Lateral Entry at IP University candidates must appear for IPU CET. Lateral entry to BTech course is permitted for candidates with a Diploma or BSc Degree. For Diploma holders the IPU CET exam code is 128. For BSc Degree holders the IPU CET exam code is 129. The candidates should check the syllabus for the exam and prepare accordingly.

GGSIPU under no circumstances will accept requests for changes in the IPU CET examination date, session, centre, or venue. The candidates are advised to appear for the exam at the centre allotted. The candidates must appear for the exam on the date and time allotted. The candidates cannot reschedule the exam.

The candidates must upload a recent colour photograph with the specified size and format requirements. The photograph does not require attestation.

The Candidate will receive their User ID and Password for the IPU CET Computer Based Test (CBT) at their designated computer terminal. They will receive it 10 minutes prior to the start of the examination. They will need to enter the Login ID and Password provided at the examination centre to access the Computer Based Test. It is important to verify that the name and photograph displayed on the computer screen are accurate after logging in. After which the candidates can proceed with the test.

If candidates have any queries or objections related to a IPU CET 2026 questions or its answer options, they can only submit them through an online "Objection Link" provided on the GGSIPU website within a specific timeframe. Details regarding this link will be communicated to all candidates who have attended the online examination via their registered email IDs and mobile alerts. Any representations made after this timeframe will not be considered. It is important to note that objections or complaints submitted through any other mode of communication will not be entertained under any circumstances.

Hello Yashica Chugh, the question papers of previous years are available on many websites including Shiksha for knowing how these were asked during the examination. This come with the answers also so the student does not have to struggle to find the answers. Taking mock examination is also a good way of learning the status of preparation as well as to know which topics need more polishing. The topics included in the exam are B.Sc Level Mathematics- (40%), English (10+2 level)- (20%,) Analytical & Logical Reasoning (20%), Scientific Aptitude - (20%).

To gain entry into the assigned examination centre on the specified date and time, the candidates were asked to take a hard copy of their E-Admit Card, along with at least one valid original photo identification card, such as a Voter Identity Card, Driving License, PAN Card, Passport, Aadhaar Card, or Employer ID (Government). Candidates will not be granted entry without a valid E-Admit Card and original photo identification card. It is recommended to carefully preserve this E-Admit Card for future reference
