Steps to participate in IP University 2026 counselling :

Yes, candidates must pay a counseling fee to participate in IPU CET counseling. The counselling fee amount is INR 1000. The fee amount and payment details are usually mentioned in the official counseling notification or on university's website. The fee is non-refundable in most cases.

After seat allotment, candidates must report to allotted institute for document verification and admission. They must submit required documents, pay admission fee, and complete admission procedures.

IPU CET counselling is being conducted in online mode. The candidates are allotted seats during IPU CET counselling. Candidates are called for counselling based on their JEE Main score for the B.Tech programme. For B.Tech (Biotechnology), Lateral Entry to B.Tech programmes for Diploma holders and Lateral Entry to B.Tech programmes for B.Sc. Graduates, candidates are called for counselling based on IPU CET score.

There is no restriction for filling the preferences of the courses and colleges. Candidates can fill in choices as much as they can. The candidates are allotted seats based on their IPU CET score and seat availability. The candidates are allotted seats as per their preferences.

The documents required for verification are JEE Main admit card & result (for B.Tech course), IPU CET 2026 score card (B.Tech (BioTechnology), Lateral Entry to B.Tech Programmes for B.Sc. Graduates, Lateral Entry to B.Tech Programmes for Diploma holders) caste category Certificate admission receipt, provisional allotment letter, and conduct Certificate. The candidates must make sure that all the documents are provided during document verification. After confirmation of the seats, candidates have to go through the document verification process.

Yes, printed copy of IPU CET admit card must be taken to exam centre. The admit card is proof of eligibility and registration for IPU CET. It will have information such as roll number, exam centre details, and instructions.

If candidates find any error on IPU CET admit card they must contact authority immediately.

• Click reset password. 
• Enter new password.

Candidates can use the new password to log in to the official website. The candidates can further download the admit card. To appear in exam, candidates must have IPU CET admit card

If the candidates lose the admit card before the exam they can visit the official website and download it again. The link for downloading the admit card will be provided on the official site till the day of the exam. If the candidates do not find the link for admit card they should notify the examination authorities of their situation immediately. The candidates must reach out to the respective department or the conducting body of IPU CET and inform them about the loss of their admit card. They will guide them on the necessary steps to take.
