The JB Institute of Engineering and Technology (JBIET) (autonomous) is a technical institute located in Amdapur X (Cross) Roads, near Chilkur, Hyderabad, India. It is 22 km (14 mi) from the city center. It has an intake of more than 1050 students. J. B. Educational Society was formed in 1993 by J. Bhaskar Rao to provide education in the language of English.

JBIET has an excellent placement track record of students who have been hand-picked consistently by the world's best MNCs like Infosys, Amazon, IBM, HCL, Google Maps, HSBC Bank, ICICI Bank, etc. JBIET provides students plenty of opportunities to work in global markets. Yes, J.B. institute of engineering and technology is a known institute for it's amazing placement opportunities and amazing infrastructure, well-equipped laboratories and a big library. The hostel is very good and quite hygienic.

The total hostel fees at J.B. institute of engineering and technology is Rs.2,48,000.
JB Institute of Engineering and Technology provide on campus sepate hostel for both boys and girls.
The hostel is quite clean and the food is good. Overall it's quite reasonable.

As for 2024 it is closed by now, but you can apply for academic year 2025.
You can take admission through TS EAMCET, whose application will release soon.
Getting cutoff marks in TS EAMCET for J.B. institute of engineering and technology is not very difficult. With a rank of 38k you can get admission.

I will say it's not that difficult to get admission, you have to score atleast 36k in TS EAMCET which is not that challenging.
In TS EAMCET Mathematics determine your rank as it is the toughest of all subjects. Other than that physics and chemistry are quite reasonable.
Focus on maths then no-one can stop you to get chance in J.B. institute of engineering and technology.

The last round cutoff of TS EAMCET (Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test) for computer Science and engineering was 34317 (R1), for artificial intelligence 38k (R1), for electronics and computer Engineering it was 36k (R1). Overall with a rank of 38k you can get admission in J.B. Institute of Engineering and Technology.

In order to get admission in J.B. Institute of Engineering and Technology you have to give TS EAMCET (Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test).
Other than that you have to score atleast 45% in 10+2 with maths as one of your subject.
