For admission into the BTech course at Jain University candidates must fulfil a total of 3 conditions which are:
- Eligibility Criteria- Candidates must have passed Class 10 and 12 with a 45% aggregate with Physics and Mathematics plus Chemistry/Electronics/Computer Science/Biology as optional subject.
- Application Form: Candidates must complete the online application process on the college official website.
- Entrance Exam: Candidates must qualify through either the Jain Entrance Test (JET) or via Uni-Gauge/JEE Mains/COMEDK entrance exams.

No, Jain University admissions are currently closed for their BCA programme atleast for the academic year of 2025. Candidates who wish to apply for BCA programme must look forward to 2026 with admissions generally occuring in the months of April to June for most UG courses. No, there are no provisions available to the students for taking direct admission in the BTech programme at Jain University. Jain University BTech admission is entirely based on candidates' performance in the Jain Entrance Test (JET), conducted by the university, or scores of accepted exams such as, JEE Main/ Uni-GAUGE/ COMEDK are also considered. The final selection is based on the scores in the respective entrance exams, followed by a counselling round.

The Jain University cutoff varied from exam to exam and year. In 2026, the XAT percentile was 50 for a seat. For the CAT exam, the 2025 cutoff was also 50. For the MAT entrance exam, the cutoff was 71 in 2025.
