To appear in IIT JAM Exam you need to first score minimum 55% marks if you are from General/OBC categories and 50% marks for SC, ST categories in your B.Sc. 1. The candidates should have secured at least 55 per cent marks in aggregate of subjects including languages and subsidiaries of all the years combined. Those however belonging to SC/ST and PwD categories need to secure at least 50 per cent marks in aggregate of the subjects.
2. Candidates need to note that equivalence of marks in case of grades in letter/ CGPA (and not in percentage of marks) will be decided by the participating institutes of JAM.
