Yes, the MBBS course offered by Jamia Hamdard University is recognised by the Medical Council of India (MCI). Jamia Hamdard admission to MBBS is through NEET-UG Counselling by MCC. The NEET counselling is segregated into two categories, central or national, and state counselling. The NEET counselling process conducted by MCC is for admission to the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats. Once the counselling is over, MCC allots seats under different categories.

Candidates do not need to pre-register any where to apply for Jamia Hamdard University MBBS programme. All seats (General, Muslim Reserved & NRI) are allotted through NEET-UG Counseling through MCC of DGHS under MoHFW, GoI only.
