Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada Eligibility

JNTUK M.Tech admissions are based on GATE score followed by CCMT counselling or Andhra Pradesh PGECET score. In addition to this, candidates must have passed Class 12 from a recognised board with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology as an optional subject for M.Tech admission at JNTUK. The total course fee for M.Tech course ranges between INR 56,000 and INR 2.28 Lacs.

Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada offers five courses at the undergraduate level, namely B.Tech, B.Pharma B.Arch Pharma. D and integrated MBA. The duration of B.Tech and B.Pharma is four years each, whereas B.Arch and integrated MBA are of five-year duration. Pharma. D is of six-year duration. Admission to all these courses is entrance exam-based. For JNTUK Ph.D. admission, candidates must appear in one of the entrance exams such as UGC NET/ CSIR NET/ GATE/ Andhra Pradesh RCET followed by Interview.

With this rank, even in the SC category it is tough to get a seat in top institutes. The Cut-offs of JNTU Kakinada and JNTU Anantapur are under 1000 for SC category. You have not mentioned your branch and hence the above cutoff which I have mentioned is according to all branches. No, you won't get a seat in JNTUK in any branch. Because top rankers will choose this university as their priority and seats may almost fill with the top rankers. So, choose another unkversity like JNTUV, JNTUA, JNTU, Narasaraopeta, etc.All the best!
