In JEE, you need to score only the cut-off marks in your category to get a college, but in BITSAT, you must score 300+ to get admission in any of the campuses and it is irrespective of your caste.
For all these, the best way is to solve the previous year questions as they will

I will prefer CBSE as the study load is slightly less as compared to ISC and the quality of questions asked in the exam is better than the state board papers, thereby, aiding JEE preparation.

Hello Sagar,
As per your rank, you are not going to get any good colleges, so you look forward to your next exam, but if you are not very much clear over your concepts, then it is better to drop a year.
All the best.

Stay calm, focused and motivated during studies. Go through NCERT to build basics. And then for physics go through HC Verma, solve questions given, for chemistry NCERT is sufficient but for organic, you may read OP Tandon in addition of this you also refer to JD LEE for inorganic, for maths practice a lot after understanding concepts for reference you may choose RD Sharma.
Solve questions a lot.Solve practice sets of Arihant Publication to gain confidence and speed. Also, solve last year question papers.

Hello Haritha,
The best books for JEE Mains are CBSE prescribed books for 12th. For JEE Advanced, if you Google, lots of lists will come out. You select any one. In that exam your concepts are tested and not mugging of books.
Only advise: Work on concepts & study regularly.

First solve NCERT books and then solve question banks.
Prepare physics from HC Verma and maths from RD Sharma if you want good control over these two subjects.
Good luck.
