I'm providing you with three video links which can be very useful for you:
https://youtu.be/K3lviiNR0pI
https://youtu.be/PEOpYDfNY-4
https://youtu.be/e_P5c_HJUNU
I want to suggest you that please aim for 250 as it is a secure score, you will definitely get admission in the colleges such as DTU, NSIT or NITs otherwise there might be chances that at the end you will not get your desired college. All the very best from my side.

The only problem you may face is relieving letter from college. As you are already enrolled in a private college and also with university so they might demand full four year fees from you.

First of all, I want to suggest you that please make sure before preparing for JEE Mains that you really want to do engineering, ask yourself whether it really interest you or you are doing, because everyone is saying to do so.
Yes, if you really want to do engineering, then I suggest you to immediately take admission in any coaching classes.
Or, you can also do one thing, just do your class 11th and class 12th thoroughly, and give IPU CET. If you will score well, then you can get a good college to be in.
If you have done your class 11th and class 12th thoroughly, then it is easy to crack IPU CET with good rank.

If you are dropping a year, do it only if you are determined and believe in yourself that you can do it. For preparation, I would suggest you to join a good coaching instead of studying on just your own.

Hello Yashik,
There are various things that you can do. Rather than joining a coaching institute, make a study plan and work hard. But, you must be highly self motivated to ensure success. Second way to prepare is by joining a reputed coaching class. Whatever you do, you must remember that you will have to score will in your board exam as well.
All the best.

Hello Harsh,
Well its good that you are looking forward to IIITs and NITs, however considering Kota it is the hub of all premier IIT JEE coachings of India,so you can choose any one of them, but in my opinion it will be better for you to go with resonance because it is more result orienting these days.
All the best!

If your mains rank is above 70000 (general), you can try if not, you need to work really hard. I have dropped one year but that year was like a nightmare as I studied around 12 hours a day. So, I would suggest you to think once again finally.
All the best.
