Hello Javed,
Many students drop one year to prepare for JEE Mains. It's a good idea. But give it your best. Work hard. Don't waste away your time. It will definitely show results.

For getting into a decent NIT, you need to score at-least 200 in JEE. Also, don't worry about your board percentage as from this year onwards, AIR will not depend upon board percentage. However, you may not be eligible for JEE Advanced as min. 75% in boards is required for that.
I hope this helps. :)

Hello Sai,
It's good to see that you have started thinking of getting 300+ marks. You have already won. Best books are by NCERT for CBSE 12th. Nothing will beat these.
Best wishes.

Hello Dharmik,
The best books for preparation for JEE Mains are those prescribed by NCERT for class 12th (CBSE) syllabus. These are well structured and very lucid.

Hello Mohsin,
Almost all the famous coaching institutes have their presence in Guwahati. However, I would advise you to select one that is near to your home and one that can give a little bit more personal attention.

Hello Satyajeet,
Firstly and most importantly, do not panic. There is still enough time available. Assign time for each subject everyday. Assign time for exercise and yoga everyday. Think of only JEE Mains presently. You can think of JEE Advanced later.
Best wishes.

Hello Anuj,
It's quite tough to prepare for JEE Mains and at same time study on first year. In addition, many colleges simply refuse to give TC. You should have taken drop of year.
