With 96 marks in JEE Mains and having OBC category, it's quite difficult to get into any NIT/IIIT.
However you reside in Maharashtra, so there are fair chances that you will get admission in the govt. /private colleges of Maharashtra. So keep visiting your nearby colleges and gather information.

Hello Aditya,
As per your marks chances of NITs for you is slim, however, you may apply to different IIITs, LNMIT, Thapar University and JIIT, Noida these are certainly best available options for you.

According to your marks and category you are disqualified for JEE Mains 2k17 and I suggest you to try next year or prepare good for your state's engineering entrance exam.

As per your rank your chances of getting any NIT's is very slim. So if you got your preferred branches in VIT or SRM then choose any of them both are good.
