You need to specify your course of interest(specialization) in which you are interested. However there are some private colleges with impressive records of placement and overall ranking. You should also look out of West Bengal for some better colleges. You may avail good scholarship as well as placement assistance is a key factor to finalize a college. Your marks in JEE doesn't really assure you to get a seat into any of the NIT, IIT or government colleges. You still have some other best universities you can apply for. Just give it some extra effort this time. Private universities also provide best infrastructure these days and have excellent placement records. You can check out the following colleges -
