With OBC-NCL rank of 29247 in JEE Main, it's likely you could get into Civil Engineering at a lower-tier NIT (National Institute of Technology) or potentially a Government-funded technical institute (GFTI). However, it's unlikely you'd get into a top-tier NIT or IIT.

The scorecard of JEE Main result is valid for the current session only. The candidate will not be able to use/take admission in college in the next exam session using JEE Main result scorecard. Hence, applicants who qualify for the exam are advised to appear in the counselling held by various JEE Main participating  institutes.

The rank obtained thugh JEE Main marks vs percentile data is an expected rank and not the actual rank. Candidates must note that the actual JEE Main rank is given in JEE Mains result release by the NTA.

When two candidates score same marks in JEE Main, the NTA resolves tie by giving weightage to candidates haveing the highest marks in Maths>Physics>Chemistry. In case ties still persist, the weightage will be given to candidates with less incorrect questions in subjects in the same order.

You can find the free test series for the JEE Mains exam, which was held in January, on the official NTA website. You can also find them in libraries and the local book stores three months before the exam. Free Test Series can also be found on the websites of various academies, such as Khan Academy or PW.

The scores obtained through JEE Main answer key is marks out of 300. However, the result of JEE Mains is announced in percentile and not marks. Candidates can however get an idea of their percentile using JEE Mains marks vs percentile analysis.
