GNDU have B.Tech lateral admission. However Electrical engineering branch is not available here. So think about some other branches. Further JEE Main is not required for lateral admission. However University will conduct own entrance exam.

The reputation of the college may affect the range. College with high reputation will have higher range. You cannot get admission into college through JEE main exam. You need to separately write exam or you should be your state topper in 12th boards to get direct admission. Even if you are taking admission through JEE main result you need to have a percentile of about 98-99.

Admission in VJTI are done purely on the basis of merit of MHTCET for engineering courses through CAP allotment by CET cell Maharashtra. So chances of getting admission through JEE Main rank you obtained are very low.

To get into NITs via JEE Mains, you'll need to have passed 12th grade with at least 75% marks (or be in the top 20% of your class). For SC/ST students, the minimum is 65%. There's no upper age limit.
