Admissions to NIT (National Institute of Technology), Trichy is Entrance Based for almost all of the courses. The college accepts different exam scores for different levels of courses. Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains is necessary for admissions to the undergraduate engineering programs, B.Tech which offers 8 courses and B.Arch which offers 1 course. Admissions are based on the marks scored in class 12th or equivalent as well as the JEE (Main) examination. Seats are allocated to students through Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA), Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) and the Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA).

LPU has a rigorous selection process, and the cutoffs for admission are typically quite high. However, with your JEE Mains rank, you have a good chance of being considered for admission.
If you meet the qualifying requirements, you can enroll at LPU. Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Mathematics and English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. LPU also accepts students based on their academic performance, as well as their performance in the JEE Advanced exam.

No, the deemed university only considers JEE Main scores for regular admissions. There is, however, a provision for admissions based on other entrance exams, such as DASA and SPEC. Further, for students from Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities with Mathematics, there are opportunities to pursue Dual Degree in the field of Computational Linguistics or Exact Humanities.

Yes. DTE Goa has announced that the state will not conduct Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET). Instead the authorities will accept applications for the counselling and admission process based on the candidate's scores and ranks obtained in JEE Main. However, the candidates will be required to meet the basic eligibility criteria that will be prescribed by the DTE Goa authorities. All candidates will have to attempt one or both sessions of JEE Main to be eligible for GCET/Goa BE admissions.

The basic eligibility for B.Tech or B.E is 60% in 12th with PCM and minimum 80 percentile in JEE Mains.
