The counseling process for JEE Main is conducted online, which is pretty convenient for the candidates, whereas KCET counseling is conducted in offline mode. Unlike KCET JEE Main counseling is centralized, and the seat allotment is done based on the candidate's All India Rank. This means that you can get admission to your preferred college anywhere in India based on your JEE Main rank. On the other hand, KCET counseling process and seat allotment are conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA), where the mock seat allotment helps the candidates understand the chances of admission based on their rank and choice preference. Hello Abhay Kumar Bairagi, I am sure that boy now you would have join one of the NITs or even IIT for your studies. It's almost one year that you have raised this query. By now you would have obtained the required information on your own. It's unfortunate that no one picked your question. But it may be since your query is not specified perhaps correctly. If only you had asked pointed question, then I amsure you would have obtained correct answer. Best wishes to you.

Hello Yash Chauhan, National testing agency while declaring results takes into account various categories of reservations provided under relevant Government orders. If you have not mentioned in the application form for JEE Mains examination that you are from EWS category then your merit will be only from general category and not from EWS category. This being the case you may not be able to appear for JEE Advanced examination if your percentile is not above the cut off that will be declared shortly by National testing agency. In any case at such a belated stage one cannot change the category since the time for it is already over. Howeve

Some universities may also have a quota for admission through JEE Main. While others may have a quota for state-level entrance exams or other national-level entrance exams.
