I understand , being at Ranchi, its surely gives you advantage to do a course at same city. But if we speak about animation industry , then i feel its Mumbai , Chennai , Bangalore & Pune who are really doing good and growing fast in this aspect.
Bangalore is the 1st City in India , which has its own animation policy by the government , which reflects government interest and support in this industry here at Bangalore .
Now also Hyderabad is in the same list .
Automatically bigger companies and industries are more interested to invest in these cities.
Hope you must have heard about Dream works, it has only one branch in INDIA and its at Bangalore .
The point behind saying all this , is , automatically here you get more professional , who shuffle between the production houses and academies .
So automatically in these cities an institute get better faculties for their students .
Ranchi is also a beautiful place well developed in lot many sector , but just think on the points i have mentioned , the time is a biggest investment , so its always better to choose the best ,
