No, you can still appear. The basic eligibility criterion for pursuing Bachelor of Journalism degree is qualifying 10+2 or equivalent examination in Science stream with a minimum of 50% marks secured from a recognized board of the country. Some reputed colleges and institutes do conduct entrance examination for admission.

Delhi College of Arts & Commerce BA Admission 2019:
1. All applicants seeking admission to the College should read the prospectus of the College. The prospectus contains relevant information regarding admission to various courses and conditions of eligibility.
2. Admissions are made purely on merit basis.

Yes, Delhi University conducts entrance for BJMC. The entrance exam for journalism in DU is June 2019.
