It's great to see your enthusiasm in studying a totally unrelated field. But don't worry. I do not know your present occupation but take it that you can not join a regular college.
Don't worry. IGNOU, SMUDE are two of the distance learning Universities. You can go to their website and download brochure cum application form. Fill it up, post it online after paying requisite fees & then you can begin the study of journalism.

If you love journalism, go for it, it's better to change stream now then to regret later.
You can also opt for psychometric test comprising of Aptitude, personality and career interest if you have any confusion.

Diploma: Class 10th cleared from a recognised board with minimum 40% marks.
Bachelor's Degree: Class 10+2 examination with at least 50% marks.
Post-graduation degree: Bachelor's degree from a recognised university with at least 45% marks.
Graduate & PG programs may also require you to appear in entrance exams such as NCHMCT, AIMA UGAT, E-CHAT, etc.

The admission is based on the counseling process, so it depends on your competitors.
But it is advisable to have score of above 90% in your HSC.
