Absolutely, staying at the hostel of K.R. Mangalam University is not obligatory for boys or any students. While it can be a beneficial choice for those coming from different regions and seeking to acclimate to the unfamiliar surroundings while forging new connections, it's not a compulsory requirement. Nevertheless, it's worth considering that hostels typically entail specific rules and formalities, which might not align with everyone's preferences. Therefore, while they can promote social interactions and a sense of security, opting for off-campus living could offer more autonomy and freedom for those who value independence.
