Candidates applying for the TSICET 2024 exam must pay INR 750 or INR 550. The charge varies on the candidate's category. Unreserved category candidates are need to pay INR 750. While reserved category candidates must pay INR 550 for the TSICET application fee. SC, ST, and differently abled are among the reserved categories that receive fee concessions. Candidates claiming a fee concession must upload the applicable category certificate; otherwise, the form will be rejected in further stages of the examination process.

No, there is no need to separately apply for Kakatiya University BTech programme. Candidates only need to register for the TS EAPCET exam and counselling before the respective deadline. While registering for the counselling, candidates must carefully place the sought course of Kakatiya University at the top of their college preference list. If the candidate manages to meet the required cut-off, they will be allotted a seat for pursuing BTech at Kakatiya University.

Kakatiya University offers BTech in multiple streams. These streams inlcude Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Civil Engineering, etc. For all the streams, the curriculum is covered in eight semesters. The course structure and syllabus for the first year is common across all the streams. During the first year, subjects like Communicative English, Applied Physics, Programming concepts and Information Technology, Mathematics, etc. are covered. For the following years, the curriculum consists of the subjects, that are particular to the chosen branch/stream.

Kakatiya University has a total intake of 920 seats for all streams of BTech that are offered at the Warangal campus of the university. These seats are allotted through TM EAPCET counselling. Only the students who have appeared for the TS EAPCET entrance exam are eligible to apply for this counselling. During the counselling, the candidates have to place Kakatiya University BTech at the top of their college preference list. If the candidate has cleared the required cut-off, a seat will be allotted to them, subject to the fulfilment of other eligibility criteria.
