Hello Malishka!

Yes, the last date for any correction in the form was April 1, 2024. However, KEA will reopen the KCET application form correction 2024 after the conclusion of the exam. So, if you made any mistake, now you can change. KEA will be releasing the final answer key on May 20. You can login into the portal using your credentials and fill out the application for corrections.

I hope it will help. You can reach out to us for further queries.

Thank You.

Yes, KCET is enough to apply for SJB Institute of Technology for admission for B.Tech for any specialization. apart from this eligibility requirements for admission to the B.E/B.Tech programme include a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from the PUC examination of Karnataka or its equivalent examination. Any entrance exam score or rank is enough whether KCET or COMEDK or JEE. make sure you check the cutoff ranks related to your course you want to opt for.

You can choose to ignore Biology and attempt PCM, if you are an engineering aspirant, they will only calculate the PCM marks for engineering colleges and rank you accordingly for that course.

The KCET marking scheme is pretty straightforward:

  • Each question is worth one mark. There are 60 questions in each subject tested, so the maximum marks per subject is 60.
  • There is no negative marking, so you won't be penalized for answering a question incorrectly. This means it's to your advantage to guess if you're unsure about an answer.
  • The entire KCET exam is multiple choice, so you'll be choosing the answer you think is correct out of four options provided.

Here's a quick summary:

  • Marks per question: 1
  • Negative marking: No
  • Question type: Multiple Choice (MCQ)

KEA or Karnataka Examinations Authority conducts KCET. Though KEA does not provide any special formulated mock tests for KCET. You can appear for KCET mock tests from alternative coaching websites or test websites available. There are various coaching institutions who offer free as well as paid test series, you can enroll yourself in that. Or you can buy a book of KCET mock tests available on online platforms like amazon, flipkart etc. You can also download mock test pdf from websites like testbook, oliveboard etc. Mock tests and test series will help you improve your test scores rapidly and enhance your performance.

Yes, for admission into the B.Sc. Nursing programme at St. John's Medical College Hospital, Bengaluru, KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test) is the primary entrance exam followed by the Interview process. This exam is required to take admission in BSC and BPT course. But for MBBS admissions it is NEET UG exam and counselling which has to be given. Also, for NEET PG it is given for MD admissions here.
