Yes, the aspirants of PG Diploma courses are required to take the PG Entrance Exam conducted by the office of CSSAC, University of Kerala. There is no provision for re-examination under any circumstances. The questions asked in the test are Multiple Choice Questions. In addition, negative marking is applicable and 0.25 marks are deducted for each wrong response. The response sheets are further either digitally checked or by an examiner's panel, which is approved by the Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor. Candidates can take the test by completing the application process by visiting the university website.

Kerala University conducts two batches for PG Diploma course in Russian language. The morning batch is from 7.30 AM to 9.00 AM on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday and the evening batch from 5.00 PM to 6.30 PM on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. Candidates can attend the classes as per their preference. Additionally, the schedule is also given to the candidates by the university and are informed in case of any alterations.
