KIIT School of Biotechnology

KIIT School of Biotechnology admission is based on the KIIT Entrance Examination (KIITEE). For BTech courses, candidates must fulfill the following criteria:

• Candidates who have passed 10+2 examination in 2017,2018 or appearing in 10+2 examination are only eligible to apply for BTech (4 Years) course of the University.
• Should have studied in regular full time formal education in their schooling/ college.
• Pass in 10+2 or its equivalent with at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken together.
• For BTech & M.Tech (Dual Degree) Biotechnology. Pass in 10+2 or equivalent with at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology taken together.

KIIT School of Biotechnology  (Known as KSBT) is a private college,  inception in the year 2007 under the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology. KSBT foundation was undertaken with the mission of “Science for Society” and to fulfill it, they have set a vision to inspire all individuals and those collaborating with them. Also, KIIT School of Biotechnology mission is given below:

• To develop a skilled human resources in the field of biotechnology and microbiology.
• To provide all round nurturing environment for overall scientific growth of students.
• To develop innovative technologies for the benefit of mankind.
• To promote entrepreneurship  among young innovators for encouragement of juvenile industries.

KIIT School of Biotechnology  (Known as KSBT) is a private college,  inception in the year 2007 under the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology. The college offers BTech,  MSc, and PhD programmes across various specialisations such as Biotechnology and Applied Microbiology, among others. The state-of-the-art facilities of the KIIT School of Biotechnology include adequate number of air conditioned classrooms, laboratories, conference hall, reading rooms and round the clock Library with Journals, e-resources, multilingual news papers, divergent magazines and around 15000 books. The digital library has access to a large number of databases related to interdisciplinary subjects including the core subjects of Science and technology. Also, the Design lab of KSBT will help to achieve the vision of Translational Research and Operational Excellence by working across boundaries to centralize and standardize process management and process improvement efforts, increasing efficiencies, and supporting a culture of continuous improvement.
