The eligibility criteria for special scholarships provided by K J Somaiya College of Engineering, with the amount ranging from INR 1 Lakh to INR 2 Lakh, is that candidates should have passed HSC or its equivalent examination (CBSE/ICSE/Other boards) with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subjects, and have appeared for JEE-Main/ SAT/ MHT-CET/ PERA-CET/ CUET 2023 entrance examination.

To be able to pursue MTech from K J Somaiya College of Engineering, a student should have passed graduation with a minimum 50 percent aggregate. GATE, PERA CET, MHT CET, CUET-PG, etc., are some of the entrance exams accepted by the university. MTech runs for two years, and the fee for the same is INR 1 Lakh.
