Hello Udhaya,
The fact is that, to increase the number of seats, the same management of a college would have two institutions with the name 'college of engineering' and 'institute of technology'.
The management would be the same, but the faculty, location, etc. may vary.
But the first opened institute will only have more reputation and the placements would also be good in the firstly opened than the new one as it takes some time to gain its reputation.

It is left to the students to decide who is better. we can provide the details as what we are doing. How different we are it is you who should decide what is good for you given the credentials.
Presidency is known for quality. Hi Rhitik,
First of all the name GD Pant college of engineering is wrong, I guess you are talking about GB pant engineering college (GBPEC), Pauri Garhwal. If this is the college you are taking about then definitely BIT, Patna is a much better option.

Hello Arun kumar,
Vardhaman College is good for civil engineering because its infrastructure and hostels as well as placement records are good. Average package is approximately 3 LPA. So, you should go for it.
