Kurukshetra University offers a total of 25 hostels for boys and girls. For boys, there are 12 hostels, while for girls, there are 13. KUK hostel fees consist of university share and hostel share. University share includes Accommodation/ Room Rent, water, and electrical and medical fees, while for hostel charges, students are required to pay for utensils and furniture fund, mess development fund and sanitation, among other charges. No, there are no entrance exams for the MA admission at the Kurukshetra University, Directorate of Distance Education. Admission to the MA course is subject to a valid score in the last qualifying exam. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree with a minimum aggregate of 45% to 50% from a recognised university/institute to be eligible for the MA course. The institute has began accepting application form for the January Session 2025.

Yes, there are scholarship offered for the MA course at Directorate of Distance Education Kurukshetra University. The scholarships are mostly offered under the Government schemes. The minimum eligibility criteria to pursue MSc at DDE Kurukshetra University is to posses Bachelor's degree programme from a recognised institute/university. Candidate should hold the original degree during admission process. It is required for verification purposes. Only candidates fulfilling the eligibility requirement shall be considered for admission.

The MSc course is offered in a the distance-learning mode lasting for two years. Admission to the MSc course is subject to a valid score in the last qualifying exam.
