In general you need to follow the login guidelines and check whether you are able to login into the application portal or not if you are not then you should write a mail to the organising authority's confirming about your application status and if you are able to login then you should check in your application whether your application has got rejected or not. Hello Bhawana Raheja, let me out you at ease. There is a difference between cutoff and closing ranks or percentage. Cutoff means that below this value students are not allowed to apply. Like there is cutoff of 75% marks to be scored in 12th for students seeking admission in IIT's. This means that even if a student scores very well in JEE Advanced, but has scored less than cutoff in 12th then such student will not be allowed to even apply for admission in IIT. Admission for Ph.D. is based on UGC NET score and for some seats university conduct its own entrnace test. One can apply online through university website. Elligibility for admission in Ph.D. is Masters with 55 percent.
