Dear aspirant, Glad to meet you. Kurukshetra University admission to most of the UG and PG programmes is merit-based. KUK admission to entrance-based programmes is done through the Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES). KUK admission process for all the courses varies from course to course. Kurukshetra University invites applications for PG courses and the last date to apply is Aug 31. The University was expected to release the first merit list for UG and Integrated courses on Aug 22. The eligibility criteria of M.Sc. in Chemistry (Organic) of KUK is given below.
Eligibility Conditions: B.Sc (Hons.) in Chemistry/ B.Sc. (Pass) with Chemistry as one of the major subjects with at least 50% marks in aggregate or any other Examination recognized by Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra as equivalent thereto.
So from above, you are meeting the eligibility criteria of asked programme and the admission will be based on merit in qualifying exam i.e. B.Sc. so your chances of getting admission in KUK are very good enough.

The placements were quite good in Computer Science and Engineering. Around 90% of students have been placed and the placements are still going on so that all the students can be placed by the semester end. The roles offered were all related to IT field.
