Merit is calculated taking 50% of the class +2 percentage including weightages (if any) and 50% of the UGLAW Entrance Test marks. For B.A./B.Com LL.B. Merit is to be determined on the basis of score for which the percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in the qualifying examination. In every semester in each paper/practical, as the case may be, maximum marks shall be 100, while minimum pass marks in each paper shall be 36% individually and 45% in aggregate i.e. total of all papers, as the case may be, of that semester taken altogether. The Department of Law at Panjab University has not released the 2023 placement statistics. However, the University has released the NIRF report 2023 for the Law department. As per the report, 210 LLB and 1 LLM students were placed during the Department of Law Panjab University placements 2022. The median package offered to LLB and LLM students was INR 2.30 LPA and INR 8 LPA, respectively. A fluctuating trend was recorded in the median package offered to LLB students over the past three years (2020 to 2022). Likewise, the median package for LLM has been fluctuating over the past three years.

Hello,
There is nothing knows as top course in the Department of Law at Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU) Rohtak. You can opt for a course related to law as per your preference and educational qualification. This institute offers B.A.LL.B. (hons.) Go for it after your 12th as it is an integrated course og 5 years. But if you have done graduation go for LL.B. hons course which is of 3 years.
So, one can not say which one is better as both of them are different for different candidates and If you want to get yourself enrolled in Masters you can do LL.M. as well.

Tuition fee is calculated on the basis of 1st and 2nd semester. Actual amount may vary. The fees might include components other than tuition fees. The total fees for three years is 4.79 Lacs rupees. LLB at Panjab University is a 3-year full-time programme offered through the Department of Laws, P.U. Regional Centre, Ludhiana, P.U. Regional Centre, Muktsar, and P.U. S.S. Giri Regional Centre, Hoshiarpur. The total seat intake for the LLB programme is 60. The student has to pay 17010 rupees as tution fees for first year semesters respectively. And for second and third year student has to pay 18510 rupees each semester.

Minimum 65 percentage in B.A. LLB is good score and have more chances of getting better opportunities than one who scored less. You can get good Law College on India if you can score well in B.A. LLB, any how entrance exam will be considered for admission but still it adds up value. And also needed minimum 55% percentage is required to qualify in PU LLB entrance exam. Candidates are advised to note that it is required to obtain at least 35% marks to get the passing marks out of 45 in Panjab University. The PU total marks is 120 for UG exams and 75 marks for courses such as PG and B.P.

The cut-off marks are different for different castes like 36.4 for General, 34.9 for SC, 38.5 for ST and 38.1 for other Backward castes. The minimum cut off scores for PU LLB 2023 entrance exam is 20 out of 100 for General/ OBC category, and 15 out of 100 marks for SC/ ST/ PwD categories. Merit is calculated taking 50% of the class +2 percentage including weightages and 50% of the UGLAW Entrance Test marks.
